①【All Day】Sushi, teppanyaki and beyond: Enjoying the cuisine of the tower’s 2 hotels
Tokyu Kabukicho Tower has 2 hotels: the luxury hotel “BELLUSTAR TOKYO, A Pan Pacific Hotel” and the art hotel “HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel.” Each hotel has its own unique restaurants, so we recommend choosing one based on the food you want to enjoy in Japan.

On the 45th floor, Restaurant Bellustar presents artful French cuisine fused with Japanese seasonal ingredients, all crafted to perfection by Chef Munehiro Takesue.
The setting boasts sweeping city views, including landmarks like Tokyo Skytree and Mt. Fuji.

Nearby is Bar Bellustar, a sleek lounge space with creative cocktails and premium spirits. Teppan Ten-yu delivers high-end teppanyaki with live chef performances, emphasizing top-quality ingredients and eye-popping techniques.

Sushi Jin-e serves expertly prepared seasonal sushi in an intimate setting, highlighting Tokyo’s Edomae sushi heritage and seasonal ingredients.

On the 17th floor at HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU’s JAM17 DINING & BAR, guests can enjoy Italian-inspired cuisine from a stone oven and paired with Kanto-sourced ingredients.
The space includes a terrace, making it ideal for breakfast, dinner, or a night out.
②【Day&Night】Sink your teeth into delicious Wagyu beef

At the tower’s street level, the award-winning Shogun Burger serves up mouthwatering Wagyu beef hamburgers. This unique eatery was launched by a long-established yakiniku restaurant in Toyama, and expanded overseas just a few years after launching. Head chef Atsuko Ogiya, winner of the 2022 Japan Burger Championship, brings her extreme attention to detail in the quality of beef, buns and a trio of special sauces. Part of her secret is maximizing the umami by using mostly shank beef from Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black) cattle, then rolling the patties and employing the “soft smash” technique for an exquisite blend of fragrance and juiciness. This is one burger you won’t forget!

Also on street level, Kobe Beef Dining Wagyu Tok offers exquisitely prepared cuts of Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black) beef, renowned worldwide for its rich marbling, soft, juicy texture, umami flavors and delicate balance of meat and fat. Kobe Beef Sirloin Steak is perfectly salted and peppered and grilled at around 250℃. Steak is served with grilled vegetables including roasted garlic as well as rock salt, wasabi and Chaliapin sauce, a steak specialty in Japan.
Other menu choices at Wagyu Tok include Kobe Roast Beef Heavy 135g, mouthwatering slices of Kobe beef topped with a raw egg on a bed of rice, and the delicious Kobe Beef Burger. With a wide array of price options, you can enjoy casual Kobe beef dining including reasonably priced lunch sets.
③【Afternoon】As exhilarating as sports. Get ready for serious gaming fun at THE TOKYO MATRIX!

Love Japanese video games? On the 4th floor, The Tokyo Matrix is an immersive dungeon-crawling experience featuring cutting-edge Japanese game technology.

Visitors team up and enjoy an experiential game in which they run, jump, and use their whole bodies to defeat monsters. The Tokyo Matrix supports multiple languages, making it equally enjoyable for international visitors.
④【Afternoon】Overdose on Japanese-style entertainment with namco TOKYO’s games and capsule toys

namco Tokyo, a sprawling 1,400-square-meter arcade on the 3rd floor, is a haven for gaming enthusiasts. It features classic games, the largest claw machine in Shinjuku, and the Music and Playlounge ASOBINOTES area, where visitors can enjoy foods while watching performances by an AI-powered DJ. The arcade offers a nostalgic yet modern gaming experience, catering to both casual players and hardcore gamers.
⑤【All Day】Tuck into authentic Japanese soul food at Kabuki Yokocho

An homage to Tokyo’s old-school, back-alley izakaya and eateries, Kabuki Yokocho is a vibrant food hall that brings together ten restaurants, each adorned with paper lanterns and retro neon. Open daily from 6 am to 5 am, it’s an ideal spot for late-night dining. Kabuki Yokocho has a range of Japanese soul food, including Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, Okinawa soba, Hamamatsu-style gyoza, and Hakata chicken skewers. The venue also features state-of-the-art lighting, sound systems, LED screens, DJ booths, and karaoke machines, ensuring a lively dining experience.
⑥【Nighttime】Get your groove on at club ZEROTOKYO

Among the more recent additions to nightlife in Japan’s capital, and certainly the most significant, is ZEROTOKYO. Whether it’s a club or an “entertainment junction”, as the team profess, is down to interpretation, but either way, it’s a multifaceted beast — the biggest main hall venue in a district known for big events in big spaces. Five areas are equipped with legendary Adamson Systems Engineering sound, packing 100 speakers on each of the three floors. With recent appearances from Chase & Status, Vintage Culture, Paul van Dyk, I Hate Models, and Ben Klock, the ambition and intent here is very clear.
Whatever the time of day, Tokyu Kabukicho Tower caters to all your needs. This one-of-a-kind destination blends dining, entertainment and immersive attractions. With sweeping views, cutting-edge design, and diverse activities, the tower offers a unique cultural and leisure experience for international travelers.
